Empress Theatre - "Joseph" Opens to Thunderous Applause

Last night was opening night for the Empress Theatre's production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." The show was excellent and all in attendance were thrilled at the performance. If you have not been to the newly restored Empress Theatre, this would be a great show to see. Information on the show is below:

Nolan Mitchell and Trent Oliphant direct what has come to be known as the most colorful musical ever! But be prepared for a few twists and turns all our own! Get your tickets early for this one!

Great show, high quality theater production. Magna residents should be proud. I was impressed.

Definately the worst show I have ever seen! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is my favorite show in the world. The Empress completely ruined it for me. Not a fan in the least bit. The leads were terrible. The only good that came out of this show was the 3 narrators. And what was with the "The cast isnt here yet, lets sing Sold by john michael montgomery." Terrible! Its not worth your money... trust me.

Well one anonymous got it right. This was a great show, way better than Donny Osmond's version.

Well Obviously someone has absolutely no taste. There wasn't a correct note hit in that show! K, so its a rock opera, they improved half the show. And ok, so they had some good ideas, but, the lack of singers? Come on! Their leads were aweful! Joseph sang the same note the entire time! Horrible quailty show! Now this isn't an I hate the Empress sort of thing, I've performed there before. And they have gone downhill with this show.

Terrible? I guess that is why the show sold out every production?
